Hi,
I recently bought a Lenovo G780 Laptop 2 months ago. 8gb of installed memory. 884gb capacity with 89 gb used. Windows 8. I didnt have this issue until after McAfee Security expired and I uninstalled it... and installed avast. But that may be coincidence.

I keep getting the blue reset screen saying "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.tcpip.sys" and this occurs randomly

What should I do?

Thank You.

Hello and Welcome to GeeksToGo,

I don't think it's a coincidence. You should try this:

You might want to consider using the built in Windows Defender instead of McAfee or Avast with Windows 8.

I don't think the Windows Defender is able to substitute a third party security software.

Kenta09,
I did what you said. I'll keep you updated on whether the BSOD returns. Thanks
