Mass storage mode not recognized

Hi,

I am using Samsung Galaxy S from last 14 months and now a days i have developed a new problem. Whenever i try to connect my mobile with Mass storage mode my PC windows does not recognize and gives error that USB device not recognized. Though i was able to connect in MTP/ Samsung Kies mode. Kindly solve the problem as it is very much required for me to use USB tethering function.
