Something is still saying it is. Try this and see if it helps. BTW is the the same system that is having the issues you are posting from?

Download and install Revo Uninstaller

  • Double click the Revo Uninstaller icon on your desktop to start the program
  • Scroll through the listed programs and Right Click on the program you wish to uninstall
  • From the pop out menu choose Uninstall
  • Click Yes to the confirmation dialogue
  • In the next window select the Advanced mode
  • Click Next to start uninstalling the program
  • Answer Yes to confirm the uninstall
  • When the program has completed the four steps, click Next to allow the program to search for leftovers
  • Once complete, click Next, then Finish
  • Repeat the above steps for any other programs you wish to remove.

We're not worried about that because the error shows specifically it is Download Accelerator that is causing the problem not Speed bit.

OK there is something still wanting to start it. You need to do a search on your drive for DAP.

Go to Start and then to Search... type in DAP and then click enter. Does anything show up?

You did or you did not find DAP in Revo?

Also can you tell me more specific sites that are not working that are not P2P related that you believe are being blocked?

P2p is Utorrent or any other file sharing type site. It sounds like DAP uninstalled but the link is still there. You should be able to delete it manually on your desktop. Also check your startup folder to make sure it is not in there as that will cause it to try and start.

Also just so I can check can you do the following for me though I think I had you run it before I just want to double check.

Download Autoruns from the link in my signature below:

1: Extract the Autoruns Zip file contents to a folder.
2: Double-click the  "Autoruns.exe".
3: Click on the "Everything" tab
4: Click the Options at the top of the Window. In the new little window click the box that states Hide Microsoft Services
5: Go to File then to Export As or Save in some versions.
6: Save the file as AutoRuns.txt file instead of the default .arn to a known location like your Desktop.
7: Attach to your next reply.
8: DO NOT do anything till we have had a chance to study the log and reply with suggestions as to what to remove.
