Hi

If we switch the computer on--it starts to load up but then the screen turns black and the message

NTDLR is missing -press ctrl alt delete -- this however does not help

Could you please give me some helps as to what steps could be followed to solve this problem? We have very valuable information stored on the hard drive and would not want to lose the data if at all possible.

Thank you

I realize this seems pretty lame, but could very easily be overlooked.

I've also seen this issue when you forget that a disk is in your floppy drive. Simply remove the disk and give it the old 3 fingered salute.

Hi Keith and Serium

Thank you very much for the help --no other disk was in the drive --but we will resolve using the MS site info --and reboot with a CD

Thank you your advice was very helpful.
