So I have this pdf which contains English, Latin, German, Italian and Greek words. It is a lexicon actually. Well I can search any word but the Greek ones. When I copy any Greek character and paste, questionmarks and strange characters appear. Maybe the writer encrypted the Greek characters intentionally. For reasons of accuracy, I don't want to OCR the document. Only Greek words have problem anyway... Is there a program or a way I can decrypt the Greek characters so i can make them searchable?

I trust in you my Hackers! Thanks in advance!
