I have a dell desktop running windows xp that will not connect to the internet and when i run the diagnostics, it says there is no network adapter installed. what do i need to do?

Did it ever work? Have you recently reinstalled XP or used the manufacturers recovery CD?

Open Device manger and look for any yellow marks, especially under Network Adapters.

To open Device Manager, click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

It used to be a computer that worked but died because the video card was bad..had that replaced and also had to reinstall windows xp...now i get that error about it not having a network driver installed.
