Hi! where l live, l cannot get a decent computer repair man; Oregon! duh. :woot: l got a " free download manager" which l tried to dump, soon after. it took over, and was confusing_. l have Chrome browser, Windows 7, hp Pavilion, new computer, a bit. century link dsL. good downloading.

now, l can't get rid of "npf-something-error, ". "which l can't find.l have tried! for months!it says, "the download manager it not properly installed" -duh, l dumped it! but something is left, it wont let Me stream movies! the initiaLs are "npf dm. dll "but I can't even find it in a search! and it moved, it said (the computer) said, it can't find it!

HOW do l get rid of it?? :surrender: it is not in programs; l looked everywhere, l used all the advice on the web.it will not show, under "start", so finding it, and getting rid of it, is like bad malware! I scanned for malware, virus, still Not-off. short of dumping All Chrome, (l think it was "chrome free download manager ") and dumping everything on 'puter, how do l get this error message off my machine?

finding it, alone, is a task of Hercules! Help! this is BAD! Has anyone else heard of this?

Before you attempt a system restore.................................

Please download MINITOOLBOX and run it.
http://download.blee...MiniToolBox.exe

Checkmark following boxes:

Flush DNS
Reset FF proxy Settings
Reset Ie Proxy Settings
Report IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer log
List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
List Devices (problems only)

Click Go and post the result.

Download Autoruns and Autorunsc
http://download.sysi...es/Autoruns.zip
Unzip it to your desktop and then double click autoruns.exe After the scan is finished then click on File>>>>>>>>>>>Save The default name will be autoruns.arn make sure to save it as Autoruns.txt under the file type option. in other words make sure it is a .txt file instead of .arn Attach the text in your next reply.
