i'm more concerned with people getting adequate advice.

the OP requested information on configuring a windows server (specifically to help with training for school), you suggested (without even explaining what it means) to turn the system into a NAS, when he said the instructions you posted (without explanation of what they were even going to do for him) were confusing, you posted a video to a COMPLETELY different concept all together (still not related to the original question mind you).

so please, concern yourself less with my etiquite and more with the quality of your advice.

that's the end of this discussion. if you'd like to continue to assist botervloot in their quest for knowledge on the subject, please by all means stick around and offer some sound advice and instructions, just don't post links to random how-to instructions without at least confirming their relevance to the subject and definitely not without at the very least a minimal explanation of why you're posting them.

Botervloot, what are the primary functions that you're wanting to get out of this exercise?

you will probably want to have storage space in a device you're wanting to use as a storage device.
