http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DBU6 this is my newest build that I'm trying to perfect, don't think I can change any more for the best - the reasoning that I don't have RAM on there is because that mobo comes with a free 8GB

Thoughts/suggestions?

A very good build, you will be happy with it.
Info, just to make you aware. Where a boxed Retail CPU, from both Intel and AMD, is supplied with a heat-sink and fan and you install instead an after-market one, you will void the warranty. Some stock coolers can be a little noisy, but have been designed to keep the CPU within it's thermal footprint and does the job very well. I would install the stock cooler to begin with and if you do find it unsatisfactory, then use an after-market one.

I see your Mobo will be from a Macro Centre. They also have an offer on the CPU, PICK UP ONLY FOR $189,99

What is the free RAM you are getting?

well i dont think microcenter can ship to where i live in canada sadly. so the mobo and gfx card will both be from newegg im pretty sure!

does this cpu come with a heatsink fan? is it fairly loud or something and will it be hard to install?

the ram is found when you click the mobo link for newegg!

Hi.

My misunderstading, you were on the US page, here is the CA page, > http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/DBU6 Don't know which would be better for you when taking taxes into consideration.

does this cpu come with a heatsink fan? is it fairly loud or something and will it be hard to install?

Heat-sink and fan are included in the box, It is one of the simplest kinds to fit. Some people do find them loud when the CPU is under full load, having good case cooling helps keep down noise from any CPU fan.

I have followed the link to Newegg but am still unable to find any mention of free RAM, Please tell us where on the page it can be found. We need to make sure the RAM is correct for the MB. Newegg does state that where combo deals and such are offered, they make no guarantee that the parts are compatible.

We can provide you with a tutorial on how to build, and are happy to answer any questions you might have.

ahh, I guess the offer was pretty limited - it already ended. Should I go with this ram? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DBxf

You have to be quick sometimes, also pays to look for promo codes.
That RAM is good to go.

How to build Tutorial, thanks to Troy, & Artellos. > http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/topic/208831-how-to-build-your-own-computer/

When working on the computer or handling parts, you must take anti static measures, either by intermitently and breifly touching an unpainted part of the case
or purchase and war a wrist strap like this, > http://www.newegg.co...N82E16899261005
And this, I think, an essential part of building a computer, > http://www.cwc-group.com/casp.html

Thanks for all the advice! One last thing...

The case i have on this build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DBxf
isn't available to me through the site. Is there any other recommendations from you for a case? I need to keep it in the 50 dollar range, and it has to be available on the Canadian site this time haha

Sorry, not this time. I would only be going on the same information as you could get. You certainly get slugged for shipping in CA, same as OZ.
Have you knocked off the Cooler?

If I may chime in if only to reiterate what good colleague iammykyl has previously advised, dispatch the aftermarket cooler and purchase a case that has an excellent cooling system, Antec and the Coolermaster HAF range are two of the finest at a fair price.

http://www.canadacom...&item_id=045425
Changed the GPU, please read this review, > http://www.tomshardw...hmark,3207.html

Changed the PSU, The Rosewill is of older design, No PFC. not 80% rated.

Cooler, changed. better one. > http://www.canadacom...&item_id=047664
Case, better performance, Check it is the same basic model as on the Antec site, capable of adding front fans, > http://www.canadacom...?item_id=040477
Case, Antec site, > http://www.antec.com...php?id=24&fid=4

What kind of results would you get from investigating this site. > http://www.memoryexp...tection.cm.aspx
