Modem restart/crash problem [URGENT]

HI. this is an urgent post. i am currently experiencing a crash in my modem everytime i play my PS3 and PC.
Um the thing is that 1 hour or more the modem keeps crashing and it is really frustrating for me to play video games and do my school work

i tried to turn off the modem for more than 30 seconds and still the modem crash .

so any solutions that you guys can provide so that this thing wont happen again?

And i have only a Modem at home ( i use SCV cable and not telephone line)
