hi all, thanks for having me :)

this is my first post so sorry if its misplaced.

bit of back story........

i know a bit about computers, have got 6 in peices and built 2 decent ones from the parts.

bought a pc from a private seller and upon opening it didnt notice much wrong. opened it back up yesterday and came across a uo (unidentified object)

wonder if anyone here would be able to identify it please as im stumped,posted on postimage.org

That is a BIOS beep code speaker, see my attachment below;

The MB has a header on it where the case front power button, HDD activity LED and reset button connect and also on this header will be four pins allocated for the speaker.

Hope this answers your question sufficiently.

cheers for that phil, your a diamond. i got paranoid and started to think it was sime sort of spy/tracking device lol, need to give up the funny fags (uk) cigs (usa) :lol:
