hi -
my toshiba satellite which is about 3 years old turns on flashes the toshiba logo then just goes blank. i can get into the F8 bios page and have changed to start up using cd, but even booting off a windows disk i created doesn't work (i don't have the original disks tho i'm not sure i actually ever had any). Initially an error message flashed up very quickly (can't remember what it was) that suggested it was something to do with the memory. I've replaced the memory which seems to be noticed in the BIOS set up but it still doesn't work. I've also dusted the heatsink and fan but removing the fluff ball hasn't sorted it either. What do i try next? I think i've got windows vista.
thanks
