I just got an older emachine type pc. Its running windows xp. It has an after market wireless card. However when I go to connect to the detected wireless networks, it searches for a while and then stops without prompt and without connection. I tried a wireless hot spot from my phone and was able to gain limited or no connectivity. Any suggestions on what to do? Xp says that the hardware is working fine.
