Hello,
I have an hp pavilion p7 - 1237 with windows 7 I got my brother in laws old computer which is a Dell dimension E310 with XP. I was going to use his hard drive as a slave. When i connected the hard drive to the hp I went to my computer and it shows up has "Microsoft Office Click-to-Run 2010 (protected) (Q:)" I can not access the drive and can not reformat it either. It says that i do not have permission to access the drive. It won't let me take control and it does not show up under computer management. Am i doing something wrong? Is it even possible to do it with these hard drives?
