That's ok I didnt expect any transmissions over the weekend. Yes the "connection" problems still ocurring, but mostly on Facebook.

No I only get this message and problem on Firefox. As indicated in my last screen shot sent to you, I get a different response saying that the page cannot be viewed, but that may be another problem completely, not related to the issue at hand.

OK as it is Firefox only the best bet would be for a full clean install. You will loose bookmarks and extensions (although you can back up the bookmarks)

Are you game for that ?

Firefox..

Export the bookmarks to your desktop .. Instructions here

A full uninstall of Firefox.. Instructions here
put a check mark in the box that says Remove my Firefox personal data and customizations

I take it that when I thrash my Firefox that I will lose my toolbar which contains my Gmail

Unfortunately yes, however if you save the passwords you can re-install it again

I just wanted to keep the lines of communication with you and me open so I copied the addy over to Intrernet Explorer and saved the gmail. site as a favorite

I have been reading the documentation conerning un-installing Firefox and saving Bookmarks, but was wondering how when Firefox is re-installed, that the bookmarks are re-captured to Firefox.

Once firefox is reinstalled then you will need to import the bookmarks http://support.mozil...-bookmarks-html
