Probably self-inflicted. Frustrated with HP Solution Center behavior, downloaded the SW, couldn't install because "installation already in progress" (????) Tried to uninstall everything - couldn't delete everything. So, then deleted everything in the HP folder (again, couldn't delete everything). Finally retried install and the install program issued this popup msg:

This registry key does not exist and is required for installation to continue. Please ensure that the registry key
exists and click Retry to continue installation.

Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hewlett-Packard\Install\{4A0C2FF7-F844-4a11-8546-613C19AD5A0C}
Value: Version
Data:
Manufacturer: HP

I'd appreciate any suggestions.
