The successor to Windows Update assembles updates for a variety of Microsoft software in one place, including patches for Windows, the Office suite, Exchange, and SQL Server. It's available, however, only to users of Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003.

Although it's quite a rubbish question but >>it's the Microsoft way of keeping hackers busy to break into the MS systems....
SP2 was a big patch>>>it came with bundles of problems...
Patches are necessary for corporate customres...but for the home use all the firewall rules are more necessary......
