I am using a program that uses Filemaker Pro to compile records to send them off in an email. When I run the program it runs fine until I try to compile the data and I get an error message that states idapi file is missing or corrupt. When I click OK, it opens another dialog box which states that Filemaker Pro has stopped working. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? I get the same error when I try to open the help file in Quickbooks.

Are you sure it says adapi, and not atapi?

I don't find any useful info on IDAPI other than it's a database format. I'd suggest posting in the Filemaker Forum and see if you can get knowledgeable help from there.
