Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me and my husband with this problem.
as the Topic Title says, I keep getting this message on my computer.
\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\NetAdapt.cfg is corrupt
I have googles for some answers, but most of them say to run chkdsk utility?
My hubby, (who sees to most of the technical issues) is very wary of doing this again, as we have only just got my pc back from repair, because Windows would not completely boot up, and kept going back into a loop and just running the chkdsk utility over and over?
These are my Computers Specs

System
Microsoft Windows XP professional
Version 2002
Service pack 3

Computer
AMD Athlon ™ 64X2 Dual
Core Processor 3800+
2.04 GHz , 2.00 GB of RAM

We are using Internet Explorer 8

not sure what to do, hope someone can help
regards Gran

Hello GroovyGran

Is the computer able to connect to the internet.

As an asides the previous reboot loop could have been a damaged OS installation but it may have also been a sign that the HDD has issues, keep a check on it with Acronis (free) http://www.acronis.c...nitor/#overview
