Which are the best blanck cds to use

Get the cheapest you can find!!!!
No such thing as best, just get um cheap, every now and then one will not work, but hey if you get um cheap who cares!!

For faster burning, i think, you need better CDs. Which are best seems very dependent on the drive.
Different CDs have a different sheen to them--blue or greenish, or black cds and the all seem to behave differently.
My laptop "likes" TDKs, but my desktop does not. Experiment

To a point, I use imation, cheap as chips, and they burn at full speed!
See I've had some Sony ones, cost quite a lot and weren't as good at high speed as the cheap ones. Especially burning music (and thats what they were designed for, even paid the extra because they were meant for music! Grrrrr (strange eh!)

My desktop uses TDK'S and they are very good
