Hi Essexboy,

It seems like I need a new computer.

Logging onto websites is getting worse by the day.
MBAM keeps issuing warnings & they seem to be more frequent.

I am leaving the country in 10 hours and as I mentioned earlier
will not return until August 12.

If you consider it worthwhile proceeding let me know and we can continue when I return.
Otherwise close this thread & I will decide what to do later.

An alternative, as this is XP would be to reformat the system and put a fresh install of windows on.. A lot cheaper than buying a new system
