Sound good.
Is the rig now running OK?
Do not Defrag the SSD, not needed and can shorten the useful life.
Do not use programs that promise to make the computer run faster and especially those the alter/optimize the registry, they often cause lots of problems.
Remember to install Virus protection.

So don't use any of the tools and optimizations programs that come with the ssd disk. I have currently Norton anti virus.

Please give a link to the SSD model so we can see the tools.
Norton may only be a trail version, check. If you have a paid version, fine.
I use Avast! free addition. The link below will take you to the latest test review download..

I have Comcast(internet provider) and they give you Norton for free on their website.

Read 4 Pro reviews of Magician software and all give it top marks, safe to use, head the warning about running benchmarks. Definitely perform the optimization, usually has to be done manually and is a pain. wish I had it.
I can now see how you managed toMigrate the OS.
