No worries DeZiekeNon and we appreciate you getting back to us

You could be correct in that it is a SC2 issue, have you tried any older drivers for the video card, a member that I have recently assisted resolved a video issue by installing far earlier drivers for their card as it would not function correctly with any later drivers, the said topic http://www.geekstogo...75#entry2293475

I have also read that some players switched to older drivers. But would that not be a bad thing? Should the newest driver not be the most optimal one that offers the most support? Also, the drivers are specific for my card right? How can they not function correctly with it?

What many people are of the impression of is that they must have the latest drivers, this is often a misconception.
Driver updates are often released to address known issues and unless you are having that particular issue you do not need the update and installing the said driver can actually create the very issue it is intended to resolve.

As an asides, other important software such as the OS and AV programs such as Avast & the many others available should always be kept up to date to keep your computer performing to the best that it can while ensuring that it is also secure and keeping out the bad guys.

Interesting about the drivers. I have Windows updating automatically and I run NOD32 Antivirus which also updates automatically. Maybe I will try an olders driver. I'll try to find some other sc2 specific fixes if I can find them. Thanks again for your help.
