Just found this thread.

The big numbers for Vista suggest (to me anyway) that a lot of participants have never seen/used Windows ME. If they had, we wouldn't be seeing so many votes for other systems. ME was scary bad. I used Vista for almost three years and liked it ; mind you I had the hardware to run it. I have W8/8.1 installs and would rank them below Vista. So my vote : ME (worst), W8 and then Vista. Best is/was XP because it finally brought NT to home users. W7 is the best *right now*.
