Cant login to router in order to port forward

Hello there,
I have a linksys E1000 Router and I'm trying to port forward it. As i type in my IP address into the search bar it asks for username and password. I've been told that the user name is <blank> and the password is admin, when I type in the password, the screen flashes but does not take me where it is supposed to.

Any help on this will be great,
