.exe files won't finish downloading

Guys, I have a problem with downloading .exe files. They stop/hang when it's almost completely downloaded. I have tried different browsers and I also tried different download managers. I don't know what's wrong with my PC because I've just reformatted it. Please somebody help me solve this problem. I've read an older post like this one but the details are incomplete. Like using OTL then another software.
