Hi all,

I have an iPad 3 that I recently dropped on the floor. Part of the screen cracked, and now roughly half the screen doesn't respond to touch. I have no warranty with Apple -- I voided that several months ago.

I would use it mostly for checking email, watching Netflix, and browsing the internet. I really liked the speed the iPad had when it came to booting up, loading apps, etc., and whatever I get next will ideally be just as fast.

My question is, would you advise me to try to sell my cracked iPad and use whatever I get from that to get a new iPad, or would you recommend an android tablet instead? I am not looking to spend a lot of money.

Thank you for the advice!

Can`t really advise you on what to do with a cracked iPad but worth checking is if you have home and contents insurance and whether your iPad is covered by it, just a thought.
