Hi..I have a Belkin f5d7234-4 v5 that I found when moving. I've found the correct default gateway but am prompted for username and password. I can't get past username. I reset the router and nothing changed. A friend may have tried to get this working in the past. I need a way to get past this screen and get this thing working.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Usually most routers have the default username and password on a sticker on the router.

If these don't work then it's reasonable to assume that the previous owner changed them and if that is the case then there is nothing that can be done mate.

Why don't you buy your own router mate, they are cheap enough these days.

Have any recommendations? It's confusing out there. Good performance, easy to set up, cheap?

Depending where you are something like this would be ideal for you.
