Hello, my computer will recognize wireless but only for a few minutes each time I open the computer. In addition, when I plug in an ethernet cord, it will not recognize that it is plugged in. I am hoping this is a malware problem rather than a hardware issue so I ran the malware program and those reports are attached.

Hello lindsay442,

Really does sound like a hardware problem.

Go to Start - Control Panel - Programs - Programs and Features/Uninstall, then click on each of the following programs, if they show there, and click "Uninstall/Change".

DefaultTab
AVG

Be sure to have AVG uninstall everything - it tries to con you into keeping it's search hijacker toolbar.

Reboot after, and check for improvement. When nothing else shows, I tend to place blame on the antivirus program.
