Hi,

One feature I like on the site is the Watched Content box showing recent topics and also the Watched topics I have subscribed.

I would like to know if there is a limit of watched topics (without notification) or its a problem with the site?
For me the site stops showing the updated topics on the Watched Content box if I have subscribed lets say more than 20 topics.

I notice this "problem" long time before the server move.

There is no limit to subscribed topics, and subscribed topics do not expire. Eventually, this could lead to a forum index page that is many thousands of pixels long, with the associated long load time. So the number of topics is limited to 20. I think that's a reasonable number, but could extend it.

There is another way to access subscribed topics, and that's through your settings. Try this link: http://www.geekstogo...&area=topicsubs Or, click My Settings, the Forums tab, and Manage Watched Topics.

Hi Admin,

Thanks for the clarification. I know i can control the subscribed topics on the User CP but that list doesn't highlight the updated topics.
Yes 20 its a reasonable number. I need to be more selective on the malware cases I'm following and unsubscribe the cases where I'm involved...

Unless I'm missing something Sleepy the latter part is not logical mate.

The options on your image i have them set to notify by e-mail.
For the last part I mean unsubscribe for the cases resolved because like the Admin pointed "subscribed topics do not expire".

Yes its what I do. Also from time to time i use the list from the CP to unsubscribe old threads but its something that gives some work.

If you want to delete old subscribed threads then simply tick the very top box in the Saved Notifications section which will highlight all the threads on that page and click Delete.

This method is best done from the last page first so as not to delete ongoing threads.
