I am running a trend micro virus scan and so far it has found 6117 files infected with the WORM_ALCAN.A I have no idea what this is how it got there or how to get rid of it can someone PLEASE help me with this?

Perhaps you can run Panda Scan while you are surfing

take it in turns to run Trend Micro as well, both will run in the background so run them as often as you like.

Run Clean Up as well after you close IE etc to keep the temporary internet files clear

no i havent rec'd a reply on the log yet. My virus scanner cant seem to get rid of the worm and the web site is saying to go into safe mode and remove entries from the registry????????????????? No clue!
