hi, i have a windows 7 laptop, and whenever i start it up it freezes on the bios/post to where i cant even press buttons. that is only when a hard drive is plugged in, but when there is not one plugged in then i can get into the basic bios, we had taken out the cmos battery for 15 min, and put it back in, but still nothing happened. we can however boot from cdroms when a hard drive is not plugged in the hard drive is fine, we have been able to use it in other computers and we ran checks on it and all came back that it was fine. we have also put at least 3 to 4 hard drives in the computer with the problem and with each one it still froze.

Please provide the brand and model name or number details of the notebook so that we can do some checks on the specifications.
