I have a neighbor who owns this really old laptop, and I got the hdd out and hooked it via of usb adapter
and have the files copied to a folder in one of my machines with windows xp pro on it. Can't find her
pictures or documents. I need to try to get her pictures but don't know where to look.

Maybe also try a search for *.jpg or *.bmp to get pictures.
