Tom

I cant seem to uninstall the older versions of Java.

When I run JavaRa it tells me there are no uninstallers to run, and when I try through add/remove it fails of regutils.dll??

Any suggestions?

Hi Ed,

Sorry for the delay, I've been travelling and planned to reply to you on one of my train journeys and brought my laptop so I could, but have now found out that my phone doesn't allow me to tether my connection to my laptop. Seeing as I've jailbroken it I hoped I could get a tweak to bypass the restriction (MyWi 6) but I haven't had any luck with that. I'll have access to a hotel with wifi later this evening and will reply to you as soon as possible but right now I'm stuck on a coach.

Ok Tom

No rush, as and when.

Strange about the tethering issue, must be a network issue rather than a jailbreak?

Android tethers fine LOL.

Hi Ed,

Thanks for understanding. I'm back to the normal routine now.

Yeah I used to be able to tether without any problems on my HTC Wildfire but ever since I've switched to an iPhone 5 it's lit up with notifications that it isn't included in my plan, which I'm pretty sure it is! So the challenge is how to bypass these

Regarding Java, can you try uninstalling it with Revo:

http://www.revouninstaller.com/

Remove any leftovers it finds, then download the latest version of Java from the website.
