My desktop computer with XP home edition is equipped with an LG Flatron Monitor W2052TQ.

I am writing to you from a different computer.

Yesterday, I turned the monitor screen off but pushing the blue colored on/off switch at the bottom right corner of monitor.I did not turn my computer off....just the monitor.
Today, I pushed the same (now) orange on/off switch to turn the monitor screen on. The switch became a blue color again and a screen came on and stated that "Analog Power Saving Mode". The switch 0n/off then became orange again and the screen became black.
I am unable to get the monitor working properly. How can I get out of this Analog Power Saving mode.

I have rebooted the computer, unplug and plug the monitor but nothing helps.

Can you tell me what I could do to get this problem fixed.

I had that same problem at one time and got it fixed by trying different things by myself but I can't remember what I did.

Please help.

Try the monitor on another computer. If it shows the same symptoms then the monitor is defective.
