Please Help!!!!! I have a process running called SYSTEM using most of my CPU and it is slowing down my computer quite significantly. If I re-boot my computer my CPU usage is fine for about an hour and then it begins to spike again.

I have done everything asked in the "You Must Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log, Required steps before posting your log." thread.

I downloaded Cleanup and ran the program removing tons of temp files. I also ran a spyware scan with Bullet Proof Soft Spyware Remover (my personal prefence). I downloaded CW Shedder and ran that. I downloaded Spybot - S&D it came back with one one result, "Altnet - smdat32a.sys", which once I determined was okay to get rid of did. I also ran a online scan at Pandasoftware.

I currently use Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal and have run many scans with no results.

Doing all of this did help a little but the usage is still high.....
SYSTEM usage runs anywhere between 20 and 80%.
I run Windows XP Pro SP2, Intel Celeron 2.42 GHz, 768 MB RAM

Here is my HJT.log and advice would be very much appreciated.....

Reboot into safe mode and delete:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\cbamnqoc\cclusbsano <= entire folder

If P2P Networking is listed under Add/remove Software uninstall it from there.

Boot back to normal and open KAV Control center and check the settings for planned system scans. :tazz:

I deleted the folder while in safe mode and checked for P2P Networking in my Add/Remove Programs list, it wasn't listed. ;) I also checked my KAV center for the scan settings it is set to scan every 2 days...and everything is set to take recommended action...

Here a a fresh HJT.log...

please download RKFiles from here:
http://skads.org/special/rkfiles.zip
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

Next, please reboot your computer in safe mode and run RKFiles.bat. It may take a while. When it is finished a window should appear with a log.

Restart your computer in normal mode, and please post the contents of the logfile, which should be at c:\log.txt.
