hi there,

I used a pen drive to remove virus from it, but, it seems it has affected my desktop pc

When i click on Control Panel i get this message on a pop-up window - "Windows explorer has stopped working" and there is a button to restart it.

Am not even getting to view the "Folder options" under windows explorer.

Please someone help me with this issue. :upset:

Hi Dave,

Because you know you have/had a virus probem you should start a new thread on the Malware Removal section of the forum to get help from a specialist on Malware removal. After getting a clean bill you can get back to this thread if needed.

Before you post please follow the Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide starting from step 2.
