Hey folks,

So, I've been watching videos all over YouTube to getting Stereo mix to work and I've honestly just had the toughest time imaginable. I've went to the recording section and enabled stereo mix and no dice. This is what my screen looks like for the recording section. (Green bars next appear next to stereo mix)

Secondly, I've updated my drivers manually and virtually. I've gone on realtek.com (because I use the realtek HD Manager) and have manually updated my windows 7 drivers to the most updated ones out there. So far, that hasn't worked. I've went on device manager and tried updating online from there as well and still no dice.

Here is my realtek HD audio manager screenshots.

I've tried fooling around with it but whatever I tried didn't seem to work.

Finally, I tried testing this with audacity and no sound was being recorded. I've already went to preferences, selected recording, and selected stereo mix but no recording works or comes out. Here is what I have.

When I select the speaker drop down menu, there is no option for Stereo mix and it just leaves me dumbfounded because after that I have honestly no further thoughts on what I could be doing wrong. On the other hand, I use a microphone that plugs into my pc directly using a USB port and doesn't use the line in stuff. (I don't think) In any other case, I have no idea what to do and would greatly appreciate assistance.

Thanks

NOTE: The gyazo links are all internet screenshots that can be accessed via copy pasting. They might have advertisements but they definitely work.

This post has literally been up for days an no one has helped. In all honesty, does no one know how to resolve this problem or what?
