Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:
http://www.atribune....oads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads....org/l2mfix.exe
Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.
>From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder unless you are asked to do so!

Please download Nailfix from here:
http://www.noidea.us...050515010747824
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

Download LQ fix from here: http://users.pandora...atchy/LQfix.zip

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site:
http://www.pchell.co.../safemode.shtml

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on Nailfix.cmd. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Unzip LQfix.zip, and run LQFix.bat you will find inside by doubleclicking it.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Save the logfile from the scan.

Next please run HijackThis, click Scan, and check:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [FlaCPY] "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Java\flacpy.exe"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [checkrun] c:\windows\system32\elitehdh32.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [Web Offer] C:\WINDOWS\System32\ezPopStub.exe /UninstPOP2 C:\Program Files\Web Offer

O20 - Winlogon Notify: Internet Settings - C:\WINDOWS\system32\m4ls0e37eh.dll

Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked.

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan.

Regards,

Almost there, I think.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O2 - BHO: FlashEnhancer Ext - {5EDB03AF-0341-4e96-9E9B-3171522E4BAF} - c:\Program Files\Fla\fla.dll

Reboot into safe mode and delete:
c:\Program Files\Fla <= entire folder

That leaves a few I don't recognize, but that are probably legit.
O23 - Service: ldlcserv - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\ldlcserv.exe

O23 - Service: TrcBoot - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\trcboot.exe

Let me know if you know what they are for.

That did it... Thanks for your help..

These unknown processes are required for the IBM Personal Communications Suite. Basically a 3270 emulator program. As you suspected they are legit.

O23 - Service: ldlcserv - Unknown owner -C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\ldlcserv.exe

O23 - Service: TrcBoot - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\trcboot.exe
