help with backup

Hello,
I set up backup through windows 7 when I got my PC about three years ago. I bought a 500GB external drive. Now the disk I backup on does not have enough space. I suspect most of what is backed up are my games from Steam. I would be happy enough to risk losing some savegames to backup everything else. How Can I choose which folders to save?
