Hi -
If you want to request your name be changed, you should PM one of the Admins.
Someone at the top section of the list here should be able to help you.

I would like to make a suggestion to those that are requesting that the account they created be deleted. Remember when you came to Geeks to Go, the majority of people that have come here are either seeking information or seeking help. If your initial reason for coming here has created a thread, that may help someone down the road by providing information or possibly guidance. Deleting that would serve no good purpose and would eliminate the chain of help. In this crazy world of internet, we are all teachers and students, we all have something to offer and we all have something to gain. Rather than break that learning circle, go in to your settings and turn off all notifications. If you are not getting emails about your followed topics that should eliminate any bothersome emails. And it leaves you the option if you ever need to return to the forums for help to already have an account here. This is a great place for information and in my honest opinion is a beneficial place to have an account, inactive or active, where you can come for information or help in a time of frustration.

So turn off the notifications and just know that by leaving the account here but inactive you may be helping someone else, you will certainly be saving the admins of the site some time and you will always have an account to come back to if you need help or just want to stay up to date on what kind of nasties are out there
