I'm writing this here because it could go into a variety of different ways.

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 Laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit and and the keyboard with it is not responding. It just started to happen.

I tried going to device manager and uninstalled the driver and let the machine find it again (which it does) but it still didn't work.
I also tested it with an external USB keyboard and that worked.

I don't want to say it's a hardware issue but i think it is. I might need to replace the keyboard.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello mewsick75

Have you checked the Device Manager for a yellow ! or red X against the keyboards entry, if that has been checked it is possible that the keyboard ribbon has become loose/detached or damaged and should be checked http://h10025.www1.h...cname=c03293129
