Hello. My system is a slightly modified version of this setup (Radeon HD 4890 graphics card, 16gb RAM):

I am presently attempting to upgrade the graphics card, buy a better case for my system(better airflow with more room), and add liquid cooling for the cpu.

I am presently considering purchasing this card: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814202004
Knowing very little about graphics cards, I was wondering if, for less than $150 (after rebate), this is a good value for the money, and whether my mb is compatible with it.

For those interested, I am also considering buying this liquid cooling setup: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835181030
and this case: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835181030

I thank you for any help or advice provided.

Yes it will probably work, but unless you have upgraded your psu, you will have to get a psu with 500 watts and or 600 watts if you use cross fire to use this 7850..
