Laptop monitor color issue...

So I booted up my laptop after closing the lid then boom.. all the colors are messed up like someone messed with the tint on a color tv yellows and greens whites look tinted too its really bad tbh and I don't know how to fix it, Help ?

So problem solved by my dog... the dog walked by and smacked the screen and it bent it a bit then suddenly it worked... So its not the flex cable thats the issue.. its the screen itself any suggestions to fix this? i have a feeling its only a temp fix

It is in fact a strong possibility that it is the MB to screen ribbon/cable as these can become partially disconnected or damaged by nothing more than everyday use, post back with the brand and model name or number of the notebook so that we can do some research.
