In my little Budget gaming rig which as time goes on is becoming less and less budget i am looking at my mobo pick allready slightly more expensive than i wanted and thinking what makes the ultra worth the little extra money.

From what ive read on there website they make no differentiation towards the two and on the picture the only difference visible is a slightly different colour and the northbridge fan is a wee bity bigger. Is this the only difference or is there something i cant see which would make me better of with the nf4 ultra board compered to the plain old nf4.

The differences I see are

The Platinum Ultra has... SATA2 support, extra Sata from Silicon Image, dual gigabite Lan connections..

edit: extra sata cables

Doesnt say much about bios setting?

Oh cool thanks. i thought the normal had sata 2 support though, ah well i might just get the ultra then.

While this thread is going, the stock HSF you get with an AMD 64 does it come with thermal paste or do i have to order some. (didnt want to hijack someones thread and its not a big enough question to start a new one really)
