Hi we will need to run one programme .. This can be done from safe mode. If this fails to run or you are unable to get into safe mode could you let me know what your operating system (windows flavour:) ) is and whether you have access to another computer along with a USB stick you could use
Download OTL to your Desktop

- Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
- Select All Users
- Under the Custom Scan box paste this in
netsvcs
BASESERVICES
%SYSTEMDRIVE%\*.exe
/md5start
services.*
explorer.exe
winlogon.exe
Userinit.exe

- Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
- When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
- Post both logs

I went on safe mode by going to my system config, and I went to boot and clicked on safemode and had it to where it allowed networking, I restarted I was on safe mode, and it still deleted my files from downloads and said it was a virus. I have windows 7 (Laptop.)
