So last night i tried to plug an external hard drive into my ps3 (bought 3 years ago) and it kept freezing. It did this about 3 times. So after turning it off for awhile i turn it on and get a black screen with horizontal white lines that says "Connect the controller using a usb cable, and then press the PS button."
I havent been able t move past this screen. My controller is made by Power A and is the wired type, where you can only use it if its connected to the port. Its imitation of the PS button is lighting up red but is receiving no response. Any ideas?
