Hmm the joystick shouldnt cause a problem because it is not a Hard drive. Let me ask around. Ill get back to you in the morning.

nope...It strated about a month ago....after I did a system restore

This does not seem to be a spyware issue, please post in our Windows XP Forum, they will be able to help you solve the problem, as I am stumped.
