I followed the geekstogo topic to repair xp pro exactly as in the article. Everything went just as in the article until the end. After the install was finished, windows did a restart but after windows loaded as shown by the moving dots, I got a windows logo and a note to "please wait". I have waited for a half hour and the hourglass and blinking hard drive indicator are still there. What should I do? I have not taken out the install disk yet. Also, I had to change the boot order to the CD-ROM in the bios. Should I change back to HD boot, remove the install disk, do a hard shutdown or what? Thanks

Take the cd out of the drive and reboot Frisco and see if that is ok.

You don't necessarily have to change the boot option back to the HDD just yet.
