Okay, so the system now reads 'Operating System Not Found' in the grey/black screen.

I have not taken any back-up as my husband usually does so and he has not done either. Please please try your best to get us out without damage.

I am leaving the system untouched and will let you know if there is any change. Hope EssexBoy responds soon!

Restart the computer and see if you can access the advanced boot options (should be F8, like when you enter safe mode) and let me know what options you have available there.

System recovery options

To access command prompt, log in using administrator account.

We never created any such password. How to move in further?

Are we still awaiting supervisor's instructions?

I will have to step out again for a couple of hours which would set in after midnight for instructions. On what status should I leave my system?

Currently, asking for admin pswd, and tried a few possible options. None worked. If I do cancel it says restart your computer.

In a fix!

Please try to enter repair your computer and command prompt again. It shouldn't be saying to log in as an administrator. The delay right now is partially my fault. Weather is causing issues so I'm posting from my phone. ;)

F8 should get you to advanced boot options, then select repair your computer from there. On the next screen it should have a list of options and choose Command Prompt
